  1. This is not a sea story as we used to say in the service, but your birthday is the same as my wife’s, except she is a little younger than you.
If you ever get over here on the other side of the Cascades, feel free to contact me. We are listed in the Eugene phone book.

    Take care.

  2. Hi Paul! Very belated birthday greetings to you. Life & kids have a way of making me fall behind on “fun” things to do, like read and post here. Hope you’re doing well after your knee surgery. I know you’re busy but if you have time would you email me or contact me on facebook (Suzanne Perdue) and tell me about it. I have to have a knee replaced and I don’t know anyone who’s had one. It scares me as I teach dance and choreograph and have to decide to definitely do it (I know I need it) and plan it around teaching. Did you have to go to a rehab facility afterwards? How much down time? Any restrictions? I’ve heard that sometimes people have to go back and have further surgeries because of issues like locking up but don’t know if this is true. It would be very appreciated if you could shed some light on this for me. It scares me if I can’t do what I love most and do best even though it hurts a lot now. If I never could do my passion again it would kill me. Thanks, Paul.

  3. Happy birthday – thanks for sharing your gifts. I hope you are back bouncing to the beat real soon….

  4. In 1996, when I visited the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio, I bought the CD, The Cowsills Greatest Hits. Your music will last forever. It’s such a Happy Sound! Looking forward to seeing Bob Cowsill on 11/20/10 in Studio City, CA. Are The Cowsills in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?

  5. A NEW KNEE for your Birthday? How AWESOME is that!?! Happy Birthday and Healthy Recovery!

  6. Happy birthday, Paul! Have a wonderful day, and enjoy that new knee. But give it some time before you start those Tigger bounces!

  7. Hey – I have friends in Redmond. Lived in Salem for 20 years, and Oregon is a really great place. Take good care of your knee, and enjoy the Oregon scenery. It’s a good space to recuperate and regroup!

  8. Weird story: I was just on the phone with a friend, and the Cowsills came up… We both called up the website at the same time and discovered it was your birthday! Reminiscing ensued, and now I’m a fan all over again. I still remember “The Rain, The Park And Other Things,” and how good the music made me feel. Happy burfday, Paul. You and your family made my life a whole lot better with your music.

  9. My three favorite people were born on November 11th. Kurt Vonnegut, Jr., Johnathan Winters, & Paul Cowsill. It used to be George Patton, but what has he done lately? Happy Birthday, Mr. Cowsill.
