Wish I could be there tomorrow night for the screening…I actually grew up with The Cowsills in Newport with fond memories of watching rehearsals between the trees at their home up on Mason Hill, and hanging with Susan…..Good luck on the screening…..Looking forward to the documentary!!
I plan on visiting Indian Lake, Ohio July 21st and was wondering where is the Indian Lake the Cowsills song was referring to. They had a concert last weekend (July 9th) at Indian Lake, Ohio. Betty
The Indian Lake that the song was written about is in upstate NY.
Wish I could be there for the screening, but I will be on the wrong continent. We have all been looking forward to its release, but at the same time I am mindful that parts of it may be uncomfortable for our loved Cowsill family members who will be sitting in the room watching some family memories unveiled while the rest of the room learns about them. Since I am missing the showing, I am hoping that at some point a DVD will be available for sale.
Will it come out on DVD?

Looks like some of us missed the boat on this oppurtunity to be in the room. Hope they arrange another event in the area.
I’m very much looking forward to watching this documentary. Perhaps I will gain some perspective and understanding about the childhood lives of this talented, generous and down-to-earth family.
