  2. I was in the army with richard in 1969, either basic training or ait in the army. Richard was my bunkmate then and he was a regular guy ,not a celebrity like others . my birthday is aug 29,1950 and I was watching the cowsills story on showtime tonite 03/29/2013. I haven’t seen Richard since then but I have his pic along with the rest of our company. it was either ft lewis,wash or ft Gordon Georgia. anyways it brought back a memory if only for a few weeks in the army. I did 2 tours in Vietnam because my older brother was wounded and I took his place in may, 1969 and afterwards took care of him for 37yrs in a wheelchair after I got out in 71.

  3. I am getting on the Happy Belated Birthday band wagon…I loved your documentary at the Silent Movie theatre. And seeing you play with you family was so special. The dynamic is really fun. I wish you great luck with the movie and your tour. And if you could post somewhere when you a still going to be at Pickwicks, that would be great.
    I hope the film takes off and opens some new doors to you and your family.

  10. years ago at the Michigan State Fair I made the two of you a birthday cake and gave it to you there unbeknownst to you that cake was a double batch and the other half was in the 4h bake goods pavillion and won a blue ribbon!!! Next weekend you will be here in Las Vegas where I live now should I make you another??? Happy birthday guys and have a Great Year Sandy

    • Janice – were in the 6th grade with me with Sister Charles? Do you remember her? She scared me at first but then ended up being the nicest nun. I remember we couldn’t afford to purchase the class picture photograph and she ended up giving me one. I remember Steve Scherring and Michael Hayden – do you remember those two. And Becky who’s last name I can’t remember. Anyway, thanks for the post. I still can’t believe we had to go to mass every single morning at that school.
