This is a shout-out to the Cowsills but specifically to John. Growing up in NJ, I was 6 years old when I saw their Ed Sullivan appearance and John playing the drums. I asked my parents to get me a drum kit like his. They bought me a play kit that christmas and I was on my way. Ringo and charlie watts came a but later but it was seeing john that got me fired up to drums.
I live your POD cast I stumbled across your pod cast when I was looking up your songs from the 60s. I'm a month older than Susan and was just getting into music when I heard you all on Ed Sullivan. I've been diving into everything I can find on you all including watching your documentary and the extra material yesterday. No one in my family bis musically inclined however the issues with a parent in this case my mom resonated with me.
Anyway I'm so happy to have found your podcast and being able to listen to your music again. If you all play within a 8 hour drive of Alamogordo, NM I'm there!
Wish the Cowsill family great success!!

I would 'never' had known that C.com was actually up and running, had I not tuned in to the Podcast!! Yayyy for YOU! 😍 I'm so happy for any and all good fortune that comes your way. You certainly work so very hard to keep it all going! 😍 My 1st and greatest love, The Cowsills! 😍 I'm looking forward to seeing y'all on the road!! 😍 So...until then...be well!! 💋✌️✌️
The Cowsills music was pretty much the first music I heard and loved. Born in 66. My sister was in love with Paul and Bob, and of course I had a mad crush on lovely Susan. I cannot believe how great you guys still sound! I watched you on Huckabee's show and was astounded. I am hoping to catch the Happy Together tour since I am also a lover of the other musicians, especially Flo & Eddie / Turtles. Keep it up. We love you.
Your music was a big part of my teens. Thanks!
Hi guys, greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪! 🙂 I just came across your music recently. Really enjoy it! Keep up the good work 😊😊
Ps Just want to wish Susan a very Happy Birthday today ... especially as we have a shared birthday! 💐

God bless you and your family. I just finished watching a 90 minute documentary about your lives.it really broke my heart. Especially Susan, when she told about when she was 11 and the part about her dad trying to have his way with her. What a horrible dad he was. Your remaining family members seem grounded and very close knit. All of you seem genuine and I am totally impressed. So much talent in one family. ❤🙏
I will keep this short and sweet. Your an awesome band. I haven't heard voices collectively melt into the instruments that you achieved. I have been rock'in on my drums for decades. Your drummer John, when I heard how proficient he was by the age of 11/12 it took me to another level of thought. This guy rocks, and he doesn't need a drum roll assistance. Lastly, though I know it is probably impossible. I have read a lot aout your nuclear family. Out of all Susan and I have experienced similar life circumstances. I was the last child. A lot springs forward from there. If she could touch my heart by email, flynnk488@gmail.com.I was a school counselor, and retired as one. Thank You all for listening.
I remembered your song The Park, but never knew you were the inspiration for The Partridge Family. I loved that song. I'm sorry for all the abuse you had to experience because of your father's alcoholism and military background. So much of that was hidden back then, even in non- famous families like mine. I'm glad you had each other and your music to weather that storm. It shows in the joy you express in your performances. The sad thing is it passes on to subsequent generations (RIP Bill, Barry, Richard). I'm glad you were able to transform that trauma and still enjoy writing and performing. Keep it up. Love the way your music stands the test of time. I really appreciate discovering your deeper musical skills and talent. Love the newer music too!
I would love to see you perform live.
I would love to see you perform live.
I loved your music from the first time I heard "Rain, the Park and Other Things" on the car radio. It was beautiful and magical. It was years before I learned you were a family group. I listen to you guys now and hope to see you perform live sometime soon. God bless you.
You were the first concert I had ever been to. My Mom took me and my sisters and a friend to the Akron Civic Theater in Akron, Ohio to see you. We were in the front row balcony. Love you guys!!!
I miss you, Cowsill family! So very happy to find you again! Hope you come back to Newport after this pandemic is over. My daughter lives there, and I will stay at her place if you come to Newport, in the hope of meeting you there. Saw you at the Brockton Fair back in the summer of ‘68 or ‘69. Loved you then, and love you all now...ALL of you, whether you are here or on the other side...LOVE NEVER DIES❤️ God bless you all!
Happiest birthday wishes Paul! YOU NEVER AGE AT ALL! I love to see you hopping from the drum platform in concert and you have tons of energy so you are definitely AGELESS. I am your biggest fan every since you came off the stage and sang I think I love you to me at the Flower Power 2018 cruise. Forever indebted for that moment in time.
Just wondering if you'll will make it to Florida in the future? Love your music music, always have......
Hope to see you in the Northeast someday!!
Happy Birthday to Barry. 💔 Thank you for wonderful memories.
I really dig the a capella version of Flower Girl!! (I mean the RTPAOT..)

You guys lived across the street from me at 888 Eighth Ave. I was 305 W. 52nd, and I delivered groceries to your building from Peter Reeves Mkt.. The doormen knew me and let me play ball in the courtyard on the ground floor. Talked to you a few times - don't remember which guys but I remember Susan. This would have been around 1968-1970.
Hi guys,
Always loved the music, I went to sign the online petition for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but the site is no longer active. Put up a new one and I'm happy to sign. Rock on!

This morning I had a vivid dream of making music with the Cowsills, in a green room setting with a grand piano. I was there as a fan, I would imagine, but live music was happening and I sat down at the piano and played part of Beethoven's "Moonlight" sonata (1st movement), which was already being played in the room. Some fans were there to have items signed, Barry was there--so very lighthearted, Bob, Paul, John, Susan, and Russ. Russ was acting as organizer and kept telling everyone, "We need to be on the bus by 10:22" but nobody much listened. There was a general air of frivolity and a bit of chaos. I happily stayed at the piano, and then I began to hear "Some Good Years" playing, in that in-between-sleep-and-waking place. Then I did wake up, and I realized that it's August 25th. Being the good Cowsill fan that I am, I can never forget a Cowsill birthday. All of which is to say: Happy Birthday, dear Bob! Perhaps the "Barry dream" was a bit of a hello from around the bend. Wishing you a good year ahead in spite of the pandemic. How the good shines through!
I was going through my old photos this week and I found one I had taken of your father Bill. I worked with your father for about 3 years on the Drillship Glomar Jave Sea in the late 70's and early 1980. He was Engineer and I was his oiler. I think the photo was taken at Vince Vants apt. in NOLA after crew change.
I also met your mother Barbra once on a trip to L.A. and Sana Barbara, Ca. What a Great Lady.
Bill once thought me a life lesson I carried and always remember to this day. I have also passed this on to my kids. Read ever word of anything you sign and check the wording...LOL...All it cost me was mopping half a pump room because I didn't listen to exactly how he worded something. Taking responsibility for something is not the same as doing it. Anyway Great y'all are still making music. Wish y'all the best. I wish I could post you his photo but can't here
