  1. Sorry to hear about the passing. The reason I even ended up here was a dream I had last night. I was trying to win the affection of a girl and was competing with others. So I came up with the brilliant idea of singing to her The Rain, The Park & Other Things. I woke up this morning singing it in my head and found a YouTube of the guys singing it. What a great time in life it was. It will never be like that again, so special, so fun and so innocent. Bill, like all the greats (Buddy, Jimi, etc.) you too will be missed and remembered forever by the songs you shared with us. Thanks for being a part of mine and others lives so long ago.

  5. I am thankful for his beautiful talent, and his urge to sit down with his brother, Bob and sing; then corral all of his little siblings together to sing with him. I’m not sure how my life is different for having had the Cowsills’ music to grow up with. I just know that my childhood was better for it. Discovering the rest of his music was just the icing on the cake. Thank you for the music, Billy.
Wherever you are, I hope you are singing.

  6. Like MossE said, Billy was one of the most incredible singers ever! NO one can compare to him. Happy Birthday Billy, you are always in our hearts.

  7. Billy was simply one of the best singers ever. CASE CLOSED! I wish he were still with us to celebrate his birthday today. He left us with a lot of good music and memories.

  8. It’s hard to believe all the years that have passed– but I remember meeting Bill in the 60’s– and it’s just like it was yesterday — Peace always … Lisa
