Robby seems to have an unending collection of Bass Guitars and he loves to surprise us at gigs. Here's just some of what we've seen him play.
This bass was made in England, and was a moderately popular bass with the early British Invasion groups (The Searchers, The Shadows, The Honeycombs).

This is a Fender Precision Bass, un-contoured, double-bound, that was custom-made for Robby in 1981 by Santa Barbara Luthier John Hawk, out of parts from a custom Explorer bass that he made for Robby while playing with D.B. Cooper.

Robby also played this model guitar at Taste of RI (CM4) - 9/24/00 and CMV 9/03 but it was one that belongs to John Cowsill.
