| Richard, Bob's
fraternal and older (by 19 minutes) twin, is married and he and his
wife, Susan, recently
relocated to New Mexico. Richard has two sons, one daughter and
three grandsons.
Richard was not a member of the singing Cowsills during the early days but
fulfilled a life-long dream when he joined his
siblings on stage in Newport, RI in September
2000! Back a few year ago, Richard recorded
some demos and this is what he had to say about that experience:
A while back I did go into the studio ... it was such a thrill for me ... after
many years of being on the outside it was good to become part of the studio...being in
that booth and singing was one of the greatest joys in my life ... I had
fulfilled a
dream that I consciously would not acknowledge for most of my life ... my wife ... Susan
shopped it around ... no takers ... but to be perfectly honest with you I didn't care ...
more important to me was that my brothers and sister hear it and approve ... they did ...
I am happy (happy ... happy).
