| I've been sitting here for the past several days, basking in all the
wonderful memories that everyone has been posting, and trying to let my emotions settle a
bit - before I attempted the near impossible task - of trying to put into words what
this weekend meant to me. This past weekend was just the BEST - I will never forget it for
a whole lot of reasons - but mainly because of all the GREAT FRIENDS, GREAT MUSIC, AND
GREAT TIMES - that we all were privileged to be a part of...From the moment the first
chord was struck on TRTPAOT to the very last song Some Good Years - this was a dream of a
lifetime for alot of us and for those two shows - time stood still - and it was
MAGIC....THANKS to the Cowsills for sharing themselves with us - musically and personally
- YOU ALL ARE VERY LOVED. 
BILL - I have waited 32 years to see you perform with your family ... By the time I saw
The Cowsills - live on stage - you were no longer a part of the group - let me tell you -
it was WELL WORTH WAITING FOR ... you had my attention thru both the shows - what talent,
what stage presence, what a beauty - and to see the look in your brothers and sisters eyes
- as they gazed at you very lovingly - also in awe of the great singer and musician that
you are ... Thanks for being there for us ... it was a special treat !!! Loved the wiggle
!!! LOL
BOB - I have been so privileged and blessed to see you perform many times at the Pub
this year and will continue to do so - I'm always in awe of the person that you are ...
you have got to be the NICEST PERSON I have ever met from the moment I met you and Mary Jo
- I was just sooo amazed at both of your friendliness ... You have a great sense of humor
which I love, and nothing seems to ruffle your feathers too much ... thanks for putting up
with all of us crazy chicks - it was awesome to be able to share this weekend with you and
your family - to see you standing right next to THE BIG GUY that you admire so much - was
so sweet to see ... Oh yea, and if we EVER hear you sing American Pie at the Pub again -
we have a special surprise planned for you...(hint: the same surprise you had planned for
us at Yesterday's if we played it on the jukebox .... LOL) You're the best !!!!
RICH - a true joy to meet you and see you up there performing with your family .....
You were wonderful at the HH gathering in Connie's suite, ALOT OF FUN AND ENERGY .... man,
you and Paul need to get together and bottle up that energy for all the rest of us ... You
seemed to be having the time of your life this weekend, and it made all of us feel soooo
good ..... Thanks for being such a fun loving person, come out to California and see us
again sometime...:)
PAUL - Always so much fun to watch and listen to you ...... like I said above - you and
Rich and that energy thing - well it's PRICELESS .... You are the sweetest guy around -
always very friendly to all of us - no matter where we run into you ...... and I
absolutely loved the songs that you sang lead on - what an awesome treat for all of us
..... And it was truly a treat to hear your son singing at the Cafe - geez....so much
talent in this one family ..... it's truly amazing .... BTW - are you a grandpa yet?
 BARRY- Man, was I in for the treat of a
lifetime getting to meet you and see you perform .....You have got to be the funnest guy
around ..... I had heard from everyone that had seen you that you were just the best, and
truthfully - I had no idea what to expect - but let me tell you - this chick was not
disappointed one little bit ....You have amazing stage presence and are soooo talented
..... Loved watching you, and can't wait to get out to NOLA to see you sometime ....
Thanks for doing the gigs at the Cafe after the shows - that was an extra added unexpected
treat for all of us .......You're awesome - and you have a pretty cool wife and kids too
.... Thanks for being a big part of all the fun we all had this weekend....
JOHN - My Doc - what can I say - you have had my little girl heart for the past 32
years, it was a dream of a lifetime to meet you back in January ... I'll never forget it
!!! You now have my big girl heart attached with alot of love, but most importantly you
have my extreme respect - for a whole lot of reasons .....You are such a caring person and
I thank you from the bottom of my heart for being such an awesome guy .... I love your
sense of humor too - it's priceless .... What a treat it was to see you up on the stage
with all your brothers and sisters - or I mean - hear you up on the stage - as I don't
think I even caught a glimpse of you...:) I absolutely love your voice and you were
awesome on Cryin' - thanks for doing that for everyone, one last time .....You're a
beautiful man - inside and out - don't ever forget that.....I hope to be able to see you
and your family perform again sometime .... Love ya !!
SUSAN - what an awesome pleasure to get to see you perform this weekend ....You have
the most beautiful voice and I love just watching you sing - you are the best - and you
have the greatest smile around ..... What a gentle, loving spirit you have - it was soooo
cool to see you with your daughter - she is a cutie - that's for sure ... and just
watching you as, you gazed at all of your brothers - basking in the beautiful moments you
all shared - onstage and off ..... Come out to California sometime with The Drifters -
I've been waiting a long time to see you all .....Thanks again for an awesome weekend

A MAJOR HIGHLIGHT for me was watching all of the people who had never seen the Cowsills
perform ... It was so great ..... esp. Barb - we had talked for weeks about the excitement
of this Newport Adventure - and I enjoyed every moment just watching you - as they sang,
as they talked - you were such a joy to observe ..... and so sweet when you were sitting
off to the side at the Meet and Greet - crying your eyes out - all I could do was just
come up and give you a hug - and know that you were crying happy tears....you're a
beautiful lady - I love ya chick...And JoAnn - she was so bummed when Bob had announced on
the board that John would no longer be singing Cryin' - the week before Newport - I was at
the Pub, and I asked Bob if there was any way he could get John to sing it cuz JoAnn had
been looking forward to hearing it and he said " No - John would not be singing
that" I was real bummed for JoAnn....So when he started singing that .... I just
stared over across the room at JoAnn during the entire song and she was in HEAVEN .....
that was an awesome sight to see .... THANKS DOC ...... it was great to meet all the folks
from the board and become reacquainted with ones that I had already met and spent alot of
time with at the Pub - truly a fun weekend...
 LAST BUT CERTAINLY NOT THE LEAST - the
biggest highlight for me was spending time with my BEST BEST FRIENDS FROM THIS WEBSITE -
Vicky, Kathy and Tracy ....... They have been my EVERYTHING this past year, they've been
thru some very crazy and intense times with me in the last several months - and despite
everything have stood beside me - being my friends, even when they knew I was making some
very wrong choices .... They reel me in when I need it - (or at least they try to ... LOL)
and they're always there to listen .....  I LOVE YOU
CHICKS MORE THAN YOU'LL EVER KNOW .... THANKS FOR LETTING ME BE ME .... and still loving
me for it... :) There are a few other people who have been an awesome support to me the
past several months and you know who you are - thank you for everything - you're truly
appreciated !!!
I'd like to thank everyone for the awesome good weekend and memories we all shared
together .... We all have become quite the family around this website - brought together
by the awesome music of a beautiful family - THE COWSILLS ..... looking forward to more
GREAT FRIENDS, GREAT MUSIC, GREAT TIMES - it just doesn't get any better than this ...
