| So I'm down on Gray Rock Beach on Indian Avenue and the tide is
in. Down there when the tide's in it means the waves are crashing pretty good and
Alligator Rock is buried under the sea (Alligator Rock only works at low tide). But
there's a bigger "Alligator" rock at high tide and I thought I could just walk
right out on top of it which I did but then a wave came up behind me, drenched me, and I
got kind of scared and had to crawl off the rock on all fours. Next
time to Gray Rock I had Jason there and we hung out for a little while but the lady who
lives in the Indian Avenue house called the cops who came down looking for us. They
recognized me and we chatted for a while and they said any time I wanted to see the sights
just call them up and they'll escort us around.
So what a blast this past weekend was. Thanks to all who shared. It was a good
good thing we all did wasn't it? It was
great seeing all the kids and staying on the Wharf and the shows and the Meet and Greet
(didn't Howard have the collection though?). I know the paper said I was a possibility for
coming back alone next year but that's not true. I doubt that would happen ... and as far
as the whole group in two years ... well, we'll just wait and see about that. It was great
meeting everyone in person and thanks to Johnny Flanders, the "Sultan", and
Connie for the e-mail, and everybody else who had anything to do with making this the
great time it was. What a fun fun time for all. Now back to reality ...see ya at the Pub! |
