CMIII .... My Memorable Moments
Hummmmmm.. where do I start... there are so many memorable moments that I will only
relate my highlights for the weekend. The first person I met was dear Becky! ohhh we had
e-mailed, chatted and even exchanged phone calls, and as I stepped off the elevator at the
Holiday Inn, guess who was the first person I met.. there she was, right in the hall... we
both hugged and hugged and ummm, yeahhhh .. we kinda did the teenybopper thingy of
screeching 'Beckyyyyyyyyyy' and 'Stellaaaaaaaaaaa". :-)
Later that evening another great 'reunion'ng with Jo, and meeting her sister Dyan (my
favourite "poo" Girl) ;-)
The next day!! ohhhh man! .. someone that is very special to my heart was arriving ...
A very big moment when my StarBaby and his wife came, you betcha, bigggggggggg mega hugs!
A totally Special Person! Beautiful Green eyes (hear that Jane? ) Skippy has green eyes!
:-) and beautiful red hair.. (like me!) :-)
We went down to the gym and there I met other HH's.. CityGirl, Tracy, Damon, Sandy,
KathyR, also finally met my "broom sister" Salia! ;-) I finally heard StarBaby
singing live! and I cried....I had looked forward to this so much, I could hardly believe
it was happening, it's was like a dream! Had heard him on tape.. and his music/voice
touches my soul. Can you imagine when I could see/hear him singing in person?! A most
heartfelt time for sure! Thank you Eddie, you made this ol' woman very happy!
Didn't we have fun with that Marine, LOL ... Corporal Angel Garcia ... man, we had him
doin' push ups .. and he was mighty proud of showin' off ... heehee .. opps .. o.k. o.k
... back to the HH's and Cowsills .... sighhhhh ;-)
Next, at the festival, meeting Bob. Now, I got quite a shock at how much like THE ONE
he looks.. only not as tall, eh? :-) and! of course, his eyes are not green but
brown.. ( are ya readin' this Jane?) :-) Paul, what can I say! He is just the best! What a
great guy!
He is fun! LOL.. life could never be dull with him around. Sure do appreciate his taking
the time to be there, and also at the Pub. Thank you Paul. John, well .. we all know
and love John .. so, I won't add much more to that.. like, what could I possibly
add, eh? ;-)
The Festival performance. My first time to see The Cowsills doing their thing LIVE! Do
you know how awesome that was! and what a night it was.. Not only the C's, but
"Skippy" being part of the band. Did I yell and scream ??? You betcha! and I was
not the only one either. :-) Lynn and I got on our knees and bowed to the band for having
sang Poor Baby and many of the other songs that was just a thrill to hear them do after
all these years. Thank you guys!
Now the night at the Pub.. what a night! It was wonderful to see so many take part on
stage... but, the one that really surprised me the most was BOB! I had always pictured him
more of a quietish/reserved and sometimes a little faster paced music here and there ...
but MAN! He really rocked that place! He's a real rocker!! If anyone else had posted that
Bob had really rocked the place .. I would have 'wondered' at their meaning of 'rocking
the place'... but, I saw/heard it for myself .. I can hardly get over it ... I told him I
did not know/think that he could really rock! like that. WhaaaaaHoooooooo Bob! You keep
saying you're Fifty man, but LOL .. you should say "I'm fifty, but not
finished!" I was totally blown away! I mean, I know Bill can rock ... 1 - 10 .. he is
a 10 .... but Bob .. 9 1/2 ... well .. Bill is still THE ONE, eh? ;-)
Thank you Cowsills for the wonderful way you treated all of us HairHeads, and making
this CMIII such a memorable and special time for all of us. We're not getting older, we
are getting better, eh? C.U. at CMIV!! Go Cowsills, Go, EH? :-)) and HairHeads
forever! ..also to a very special and talented new friend, Eddie/Skippy/StarBaby, may you
continue to see/contribute musically in making this ol' world a "Beautifull
Beige".
Only one thing was missing .... Richard, sighhhhh .. I so wished that he could have
been there too .. too bad his schedule wouldn't allow it. Hope he makes it to CMIV, also
Barry and Susan and of course, THE ONE.
So, on to CMIV... where ever it may be, I gotta see Bob rock again! EH? :-) Oh my God!
It just suddenly occurred to me ... Bob & THE ONE both rocking?? Be still my heart,
