| I just want to tell all you fun and crazy
Hairheads that it was such a special treat to meet all of you. I love you all, and wish
everyone didn't live so far apart. This weekend was such a blast. I want to say thank you
to my wonderful husband for making all of this possible for me. Meeting and being able to
hear the Cowsills perform this year for the first time in my life has been a dream come
true. Bob is an absolute jewel, one of a kind. He gives more than 100 percent, and makes
every single one of us feel special. And what a performer....I never tire of listening to
him. Friday night was so cool, hearing so many of the old songs performed live. Thank you
John for singing the Path of Love and Silver Threads, and What About Love on Saturday; and
most of all for being so very giving of yourself to all of us who love you. You are a real
sweetheart. And what a fun experience to finally meet Paul and get a glimpse of his fun
and crazy personality. Wow!! I want to thank Paul for making the long drive two days in a
row and sharing himself with all the Hairheads. What a treat. And talent sure runs in the
family...Brendon is quite the performer himself. I want to say that one of the most
special things that have come out of this website for me is seeing my daughter grow to
love the Cowsills, too. Used to be, she would give me a hard time about liking them,
because they were a group from so long ago....and they were one of those BOY groups. And
because she couldn't understand how I could look at the old pictures and listen to the
records and still talk about them like it was yesterday, and still feel the same way as I
did back then. Now she tells me SHE loves Bob, and what a special person he is to HER. And
what is neat is that she KNOWS what special people the Cowsills are first hand, because
she has had the opportunity to meet them....years ago I loved them and didn't even know
them. Now I kinda know them, and love them even more!!! And I want to thank Tiffany for
being such a sweet friend to Kristin. She thinks the world of you .... she told me she
would love to have you for a sister!! She's going to kill me for saying all this stuff
about her, but hey .... I wanted to ... so I may be in trouble ... so what. LOL Well, I
don't do much posting and I know I didn't talk a lot of specifics about CMIII, but
like a
few others have said, I'll let those who are good with the details handle that department.
I just wanted to say a few things that were on my heart, even if it did come out a bit
jumbled. I just want to thank everyone...Bob, Paul, John, Robby, Mary Jo ... and all of
the new friends we have met ... for a very wonderful and memorable experience. I hope it
won't be the last. |
