Hey Paul!!! I too am about to celebrate the anniversary of my appearance on this
planet. Monday for me, couple days and a few years after you. I just want to say in all
sincerity that YOU, Mr. Paul Cowsill, are a phenomenal rock and roller, and I count your
songwriting on On My Side as some of my favorite Cowsill works. I hope to do a cover of
"If You Can't Have It Knock It" someday, since I think it is soooo great a song.
It reminds me of a lot of the No Depression bands like Wilco and Son Volt, only with
better harmonies. I don't think you get enough credit for your contribution to the band.
You are, in my opinion, the David Crosby of the Cowsills... the harmonic glue that holds
the sound together and the energy barometer of the band. Hope the birthday was a special
one for you and your loved ones.

I know I'm a little early but wanted to do this while I'm thinking about it. Once you
hit your 40s, you have todo things when you think about it or it won't get done. Hope you
