John,I was at the recent Beach Boys concert May 11,2003 at the Morris Performing Arts Center in South Bend,Indiana.You were born March 2,1956 and I was born March 27,1956.When I was 15, my parents were in the process of building a new house and while that was being built we had to move to a rental house.I had a major crush on you back then and I begged my dad to take me to see the Cowsills at the Elkhart County Fair in Goshen,In.Even though he was tired from moving furniture,he took me to see the Cowsills.At the Morris Performing Arts Center I held up a Cowsill program and you were kind enough to sign it for me.Thank you so much.Best wishes on your upcoming marriage.

My wife Sandy and I saw you last night(5-6-03) performing with the Beach Boys at Ovens Auditorium in Charlotte. The Beach Boys have been my favorite group for over 40 years! I had the opportunity to meet Mike,Carl, and Alan in 1973 after a concert in Chapel Hill,NC(UNC). You do a great lead vocal on "Help Me Rhonda" one of my favorite Beach Boys' tunes. I know your birthday was two months ago, but I hope it was a good one.
I am operations manager for MIX 106 in Charlotte. We play a number of Beach Boys' tunes and of course your Family's "The Rain,the Park and Other Things". Hopefully I'll hear you again someday. If you have time,stop by the station and meet us.
