Well, I'm much later than the last person to wish you happy b-day...so late that you probably won't read this. Nevertheless, it must be said that I accidently embarassed myself by thinking aloud (some may say that I "talk to myself but it ain't so.) and as I stood in my very busy dept. at work, amongst the gray cubicles, phones and computers, I saw the date and said "Happy birthday John P. Cowsill, wherever you are." Oh, the looks I got! Any way, I hope it was a good one for you and I,m not that far behind you. (44 yrs. in a matter of weeks.) Maybe I'll have to make the drive to the May 4th festival and see how well you have aged for myself. Take care.

Dear John, Obviously I haven't been on the computer lately, otherwise I would have written 26 days ago! As is said, better late than never. I did read through some of your other birthday wishes and it's funny that others have felt the same way I did, about you, in the early teen years. Never a day has gone by that I don't remember your birthday and wish you a silent one, although telling everyone I know, "Today is John Cowsills' birthday!" I was talking with you in Rhode Island this summer and told you that my birthday is March 1st and that I "changed" it to March 2 about 1968. It is back to the 1st now! Hoping you had a wonderful birthday and wishing you a new year filled with lots of love, happiness and family. You're such a great guy and you deserve the best! Oh, my mom and son, Dave, wish you a belated birthday also. Love...

I have been a fan of the Cowsills since the 60's. I am glad there is a website like this to keep up with the Cowsills!

John, Happy Belated Birthday! I hope you're still feeling those special birthday vibes. I want you to know that just today I saw you perform for the first time since I was a teen. I didn't know you all were still performing until not too long ago. A dear friend of mine and faithful fan of the Cowsills, Nashville Kate, mailed me a video containing some of the more current Cowsill performances. You've still got it John....only better. I'm thrilled to see what I have been missing all these years. You are blessed with a very special gift...not to mention the sparkle in your eyes and that great smile! I did NOT miss your birthday! When I woke up that morning, I did the SAME thing I've done every year since I was 12...sang "Happy Birthday" to you. Only nowadays, I have to include my niece, Jennifer, as well, since she shares your B'day. And, I have to say "Happy Anniversary", in a sense to Skip and myself, cuz it was on your B'day, that we had our first date. So, no, I didn't forget your B'day, John. I just couldn't get to a computer, to come over here, and type it out to you. But! (And I feel like I'm the one who got a gift -- when you walked into the Pub last Sat nite, my heart definitely skipped a beat -- I was pinching normaK and kicking her under the table -- oh no, didn't want you to see I was about to jump out of my skin!!) My husband asked me last night if I have always thought of you on March 2, and I told him yes...not a single year has gone by that I haven't thought on this date "Today is John Cowsill's birthday." Sounds like I'm not the only one...:) How can we forget someone who was such a special part of our early lives, John? You were, and are, very dear to me. I will always remember you with a warm heart. John-- I just want to wish you a Happy Birthday! My only wish when I was 14 was to go to a Cowsill concert. I received my wish, and also got the pleasure of meeting you . I hope you will get your birthday wish and and extra special memory as I did once.

It's March 2nd and of course I woke up thinking of you, John. So many years have passed since I first heard you sing and play, joined the Cowsills Fan Club (I can still remember their mailing address!), wrote you a trillion letters, talked to your dad on the phone long-distance and heard a pre-release version of "Two by Two"...and even met you once. I've really enjoyed getting to know you guys as adults now and listening to "Global" is such a treat. Best of everything in the year ahead, John, much happiness and good health and lots of love. I even met my husband on your birthday. He thought I was just romantic when I insisted on going out every March 2 to mark the date. Little did he know.
